Terms and Conditions

Lavender Muse

This website is operated by Lavender Muse. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Lavender Muse. Lavender Muse offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the Client, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”).  Please read them carefully.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

1.    DESIGN INCLUSIONS & PROOFING

Included in your order are three rounds of digital proofs. Your first proof will be designed with your wording and chosen selections exactly as specified when your order is placed. 

You then have a further two rounds of revisions should you wish to make changes after receiving your initial digital proof.

Design layout and fonts cannot be changed.

Any further revisions past the three included will then be invoiced at £40 per proof, to be paid before any further design work will commence.

Please carefully and thoroughly check everything is correct on your final design proof, as once you sign it off, your product will move to production where no further changes can be made.

If there is an error with design or wording that was previously approved, the client will be responsible for the cost of a re-print.

Lavender Muse will not be held responsible for any spelling or grammatical errors after the proof has been approved by you, the client. 

2.    AVAILABILITY

Please be aware that we cannot guarantee that certain personalisation options, such as paper types, colours, or envelope colours presented on our website, will be available at the time of your order. If a personalisation option that you have chosen is not in stock, you will be notified and presented with alternative options.

3.    COLOUR ACCURACY

Whilst we have taken every measure to represent the most accurate colour depictions, please note that colour accuracy can vary quite drastically from screen to screen and therefore we cannot guarantee that the colour you see on screen will accurately reflect the colour of the real life product. To avoid this we recommend ordering a sample pack and specifying the colours you are interested in when purchasing.

Please also note that due to the organic nature of letterpress, ink colour may have slight variation. This is also true of handmade paper, as it is dyed by hand there may be minor variances in hue and size between batches. (Although we feel this adds to it's charm!)

4.    TIMEFRAMES

Our timeframes are an estimate only. Timeframes are dependent on the time of year and capacity at the time. It is important to note that design revisions and delay in responses, feedback and approval may also delay your stationery order. 

Please read over our timelines and ensure you allow adequate time for us to design, print and ship your order.

5.   CANCELLATIONS

You may request a cancellation up until the stage where your design goes to print. A refund will be issued, minus a 30% fee of the total order cost to cover the design time. Please let us know immediately if you wish to cancel your order. 

6.   RETURNS

As our products are personalised and made to order we are unable to accept returns or cancellations once the design proof has been signed off by you and moved to production. 

We will not be held responsible for any errors with the printed design once it has been approved by you, the client. If a reprint is required due to client error, the cost of the reprint will be the responsibility of the client.

If your order arrives and is different to the signed off proof, we will do what we can to rectify it, up to and including re-printing.

7.   DELIVERY

We will take every precaution to ensure your product is packaged safely and responsibly.

Please check over your product as soon as possible once received and in the unlikely event of a problem, contact Lavender Muse in writing within 5 business days of delivery. 

If we have not heard from you within the 5 business days following delivery, it will be deemed that you have accepted the goods are delivered and in good condition.

Once your order has arrived and been deemed accepted, all responsibility from there on lies with you, the Client. Lavender Muse cannot be held responsible for any lost or damaged goods in the postal system once you, the Client, have posted them to your guests.

8.   COPYRIGHT

All artwork, designs and photographs are copyright of Lavender Muse.

Any artwork or images created by Lavender Muse remain the copyright of Lavender Muse, and may not be reproduced.

Your order does not include the digital artwork files.

Lavender Muse retains the right to publish your stationery on our social media, website, marketing material, and we may use your stationery after the event has commenced as samples in our sample packs. We will always ensure that no personal information is shown. Samples will only be used after the wedding date and if no personal information is included on the sample. If you do not wish for your goods to be used in this way, please let us know.

8.   INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

You, the Client, are responsible for any additional taxes and duties that may be applicable to your order, including import duties and taxes for international orders.
